Who we are
Leaders Equipped Church is a church in Calgary, Alberta. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you visit our website, register for a gathering, join a community, send a request, or give. Effective October 5, 2026.
What we collect
We collect only what you choose to give us, such as your name, email address, phone number, the communities you are interested in, and the message or prayer request you send. We also receive basic technical information when you visit the site, such as your browser, device, and the pages you view.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to you, pray for you, welcome you, manage registrations for our Sunday Gathering, run our communities, send updates you have asked for, and process giving. We do not sell your personal information.
Prayer requests
A prayer request is shared with our prayer team so they can pray with you. Please do not include details about other people that they have not agreed to share. Tell us if you would like your request kept confidential to our pastoral team.
Email updates
We send emails only with your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message or by writing to us. We follow Canada’s anti spam law.
Services we use
To run the website and our ministries we use trusted providers, and they handle your information under their own privacy policies. These include MailerLite for email lists, Google Forms for community sign ups, Cal.com for registering for gatherings, YouTube for video, Zoom for online meetings, Tithe.ly for giving, and website analytics to understand how the site is used. Some of these providers store information outside Canada. Embedded videos and registration tools may place cookies in your browser.
Giving
Gifts made through Tithe.ly are processed by Tithe.ly. We do not see or store your card details on this website.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose you gave it, or as the law requires, and then we delete or anonymize it.
How we protect it
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including limiting who can see it and using secure services. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will remove it.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it, and you may withdraw your consent at any time. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
